| BRIGHT-BONDs long association with the rail industry goes back to the beginning of the century when the Swedish company AGA was founded by the Nobel laureate in physics. Gustaf Dalèn. AGA began bonding rails in the 1920s and later developed the pin brazing method which was introduced commercially in 1950. AGA BRIGHT-BOND AB was formed into a separate company in the 1980s and was sold in 1993. BRIGHT-BOND is a division of BAC Corrosion Control Ltd, a Midroc Group Company, Midroc companies operate in the oil, petro-chemical, paper, pulp, power plant, shipping and offshore industries. | |
